✅ Step 1: Download the Phantom Wallet App
Phantom is the most popular wallet for the Solana block chain. Here’s how to get it:
📱 On Mobile (Recommended)
- Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Search for Phantom Wallet. The profile image is light purple with a white ghost on it.
- Tap Download and install the app.
🔐 Step 2: Set Up Your Wallet
- Open the Phantom app.
- Tap “I agree to the Terms of Service” and “Create New Wallet”
- Select “Continue with Email” ( You can hit “create seed phrase wallet” BUT we recommend against it because the seed phrase needs to be written down on paper and stored in a safe place because if anyone gets access to this seed phrase they will take EVERYTHING in the wallet)
- Choose Google or Apple and follow the authentication prompts to link your account.
- Create a PIN- This CANNOT be recovered or reset so NEVER lose this PIN
- Turn on Biometric security ( Face ID, Fingerprint ID, etc)
7. Create a Username (Can be anything)
8. Your wallet is now set up 🎉 Select “Get Started” to continue
🔒 A Final Reminder About Security
- Do NOT click on links of free NFTs you receive- This can give scammers access to your stuff without you realizing it.
- If you created a seed phrase wallet- never give ANYONE access to this, not even us. No one will ever ask you for this- not even phantom support.
